2. The Uncomfortable Truth

2.1. A Dangerous Gamble

If you were about to drink water at a restaurant, and someone came up to you with a worried voice and said,

"Sir/Ma'am, that water contains a lethal poison, so absolutely do not drink it!"

What would you do? Would you think this person's words are false and gulp down the water? No matter how unbelievable this person's words may seem, you would not recklessly drink that water.

Why? Because if you drank the water and this person's words turned out to be true, you would face the horrific consequence of death because you did not take this person's words seriously.

From now on, through this document, I want to tell you about the most important issue in your life. Depending on your choice regarding this issue, it will determine whether you will enjoy eternal joy or suffer unimaginably horrendous eternal torment.

Then, even if it may seem absurd and unbelievable at first, shouldn't you seriously consider at least once whether this issue is really true or not?

Isn't it too big a gamble to simply think 'there's no way that could be true' and move on without properly verifying it? If you have dismissed this issue until now, I earnestly ask you to sincerely examine this 'uncomfortable truth'.

2.2. The Uncomfortable Truth

Now I will tell you that 'uncomfortable truth'. It is that all people must die. This applies to me as well as to you who are reading this. Then, when a person who was born once dies, does everything end?

Many people think 'everything ends with death'. They think there is no world after death, and that the existence of 'I' also ends. Perhaps you think this way too. So you think you can enjoy pursuing the life you want and dream of, and that it all ends when you die.

But is that really the case? Absolutely not. The Bible records the following:

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment (Hebrews 9:27)

Then, what outcome awaits after that?

I will tell you the conclusion first.

Those who believed in Jesus as their savior, repented of their sins, and lived a holy life will enjoy infinite joy in heaven forever. However, those who did not believe in Jesus, denied him, or lived their lives captivated by their own desires will suffer eternal torment in the unquenchable fires of hell forever.

Dear friends, heaven and hell are not the products of religious fantasy. They are realities that 'actually,' 'truly' exist, just as real as the world we see, feel and exist in.

When God created the universe and mankind in the beginning, man was designed to live forever enjoying eternal joy on this earth. God gave man 'free will' to choose between good and evil.

However, when Adam and Eve, the ancestors of mankind, committed the 'sin' of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God had forbidden in the Garden of Eden, man could no longer avoid the 'consequence of sin', which is death.

Also, for this reason, according to God's attributes, man could no longer avoid the eternal punishment of 'hell', a place of suffering prepared for Satan, the fallen angel.

However, God had compassion and love for mankind in this state, so He sent His Son and the very nature of God, Jesus, to die on the cross, and Jesus defeated sin and death by resurrecting after three days. By this, the problem of man's sin, which could not be solved by any means, was resolved.

Therefore, those who repent of their sins, believe in Jesus, and live a holy life according to God's will can now enter eternal heaven! However, those who do not believe in Jesus or pursue only their own desires have no way to escape eternal hell's punishment after death.

Hell is a horrific place that burns people with sulfurous fire so hot it is beyond imagination and tortures them forever. The suffering of hell is infinite, and the most desperately tragic fact is that the suffering is 'eternal'. Hell is 'despair' itself.

Even if you live ever so righteously, even if you live like a saint bestowing love and mercy to those around you, if you do not believe in Jesus you can never escape the punishment of hell!

Dear friends, there is no time. Human life does not know what will happen even one minute or one second from now. Do not delay - immediately repent of all the sins you have committed, accept Jesus as your savior and believe in Him, and live the holy life He wants. This is the 'uncomfortable truth' I wanted to tell you, and this is the gospel.

I emphasize again - heaven and hell 'actually,' 'truly' exist. They are absolutely not religious illusions or stories that appear in fantasy novels made up by people. Repent now, accept Jesus as your savior and the Lord of your life, and live the holy life He wants!

Before discussing God and Jesus, you first need to verify and provide evidence of whether God even exists or not. How can you lie that God exists without any scientific proof of His existence?

On what basis should we believe the extremely illogical and unscientific contents that fill the Bible, such as Jesus, resurrection, creation, Jesus being born of a virgin pregnancy, the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea, walking on water and feeding 5000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish, the death on the cross and resurrection and ascension after three days, and creationism that contradicts evolution?

Isn't the Bible just one of many religious scriptures made by man? Isn't it just historical fiction edited and manipulated to create the religion of Christianity? Isn't Jesus something only fanatics who can't distinguish between 'religion' and 'reality' believe in?

On what basis can we believe in the existence of God that has not been scientifically proven?

If God is just, how can the irrationality, suffering and evil of this world exist?

If God is truly an being overflowing with love, how could he torture people so mercilessly in hell for eternity? If hell exists, God is not a God of love, so such a God cannot exist.

If you have decided to repent, accept Jesus, and live according to His will without having the above doubts or concerns, then you no longer need the trivial apologetics in this document.

However, if you have been hesitating to believe because of the above unresolved doubts, or if you have had an aversion to Christianity, then absolutely do not miss this opportunity to confirm why the Bible, the gospel, and God are the truth.

I do not want you to 'blindly' accept an unbelievable myth. Rather, I want you to skeptically and critically doubt and examine 'whether the gospel is true' in detail.
